Hi Scrofa Hunting,
Can I say that the times I have been hunting boar with Scrofa Boar Hunting, the trips have been run very well and I have not been disappointed in any way. The places where we have stayed have been very clean and tidy, the food excellent and the company as well.
I hope to join Scrofa Boar Hunting on a hunt this season and will be in touch shortly

Dear Scrofa Boar Hunting,
As you asked , I will send you our experiences from our trips to Hungary in the area of Zselic.
Our first trip was in December 2012 ; we had a nice group of english , dutch and belgium guys .
We arrived at Budapest and after a 2,5 hours drive we arrived at the hotel.
It was for Rudi Geens and myself our first trip to Hungary , so we were quiet nervous .
But after a good diner and night sleep , we started our first of in total 4 days ; the area was fantastic and covered in snow.
For that reason we could not hear any boar , but easier to shoot when your eye have catched this animal.
The last 2 days we went to another area and the swamps were frozen and gave you fantastic opportunities to shoot some boar.
Very satisfied we went home to Belgium , but decided then already to return next year.
Our second trip was also in December to the same area and hotel.
But this time we stayed in the area close to the hotel and of course we were again very nervous in order to improve the number of boar shootings .
For us this second trip was even better , also due to the companionship of some italian guys with a lot of experience .( and good italian wine )
Hereby we both like to thank Scrofa Boar Hunting for all his efforts to achieve a nice group of people who have all the same passion : hunting nice and big boars !
Safety is very important : and therefore we also like to come to Hungary because on most positioned spots you are able to shoot 360 degrees .
For sure we like to join Scrofa Boar Hunting on his next trips to Hungary and hope to be present as well in January 2015 when he will plan his trip to Kemence .
Scrofa Hunting , again , many thanks from Rudi and myself.
Regards, Anton Vehmeijer

Boar Shooting in Hungary
I have been on three Boar Shooting trips to Hungary organised by Scrofa Boar Hunting , one to Zselic and two to Kemence and have put my name down for the forthcoming trips to Zselic in December 2014 and to Kemence in January 2015.
In both locations the shooting is well organised with plentiful game both Boar and Red Deer. Normally three but occasional four drives are undertaken each day with a break for lunch in the middle of the day. The sport is very exciting!
The accommodation at Kemence is slightly more basic at Kemence than at Zselic but in both cases it is comfortable and the food is ample and good.
The ground is steeper at Kemence, which is on the Slovak Border and in the foothills of the Tartra Mountains than at Zselic which is to the south of Lake Balaton. The forestry is a mixture of beech, oak and some softwoods with particularly fine old oak woods at Zselic with big trees.
The sightlines for shooting are more open than I have found in say Poland.
I have no hesitation in recommending these trips, Scrofa Boar Hunting does a fantastic job in organising them, the Hungarian Hunting Company does a good job as well.I have enjoyed every one and am greatly looking forward to the trips in December this year and January next year.

Over the past 28 years of Boar Shooting I have had “ my leg lifted” by plenty of the shisters out there, across most the European countries
I have now been on 5 successive trips to Hungary through Scrofa Boar Hunting who seems genuinely involved because of his own love of the sport, rather than a money making venture and this is obvious from his honesty & enthusiasm. Sometime St Hubert has favoured me more on one trip than another, but the trips themselves have always delivered & sometime exceeded expectations. Happy to recommend.

Hi Scrofa Boar Hunting,
As this was my first trip to Hungary and my first attempt at shooting Boar I can only say that I was totally amazed with the whole set up and organisation. There was an acceptable amount of travelling from the airport to Zeslic,
approx. 2hours, but it was comfortable in the mini bus. The hotel was comfortable with a swimming pool ,sauna and Jacuzzi, the rooms were very spacious the only down side was the food as this was not to the taste of everyone. On the first morning we were met by the guides, given a briefing and set off into the forest, these forests are amazing, really impressive. Once the horn had been sounded the hunting began, a lot of shots were heard ringing around the forest, the area became alive with the sound of dogs and beaters and Boar moving about. This was a fantastic sight and sound for me with it being my first time on this type of hunt and I was rewarded with a big sow that came my way and fell just in front with a well placed shot just behind the ear. This was my one and only Boar, this was my choice not to shoot any more although there was many more opportunities. I had the experience of being initiated into the Boar shooters club when we had the ceremony at the end of the hunt pictures may be viewed if you have a strong stomach and don`t mind seeing a grown man behaving badly. All in all this was a trip of a life time and one that one day I will do again and would recommend any one else with the same desires to do. Thank you Scrofa Boar Hunting for encouraging my son Steve to go with you and to him for inviting me and allowing me to have such a fantastic time.
Regards

Here is my testament – you take my husband away for days on end when he should be at home doing chores, you cost a fortune (money I could spend in the Maldives) and he ends up with big hairy animals hanging on the wall and I have to listen to what a great time he has had and his begging to let him go again!!!!
Kev’s testament is below …………………….

I have had the privilege of joining Scrofa Boar Hunting on 3 boar hunting trips this year – Enclos de la Tour, Amiens, Asotthalom in Hungary and a two part trip to Nagymaros and Romhany also in Hungary and each one has been enjoyable and fruitful. All the trips are well organised with great accommodation, great company and great hospitality.
The boar are in abundance and the shoots are exceptionally well run and safety is of the utmost importance with everyone feeling relaxed and not having to worry about fellow hunters. This was one of my main concerns as I have had some unwelcome experiences on other trips, which takes the enjoyment out of the whole experience.
The last trip, in Asotthalom, was probably the best shoot I have ever been on – bagging myself Silver and Bronze tuskers among plenty of others – 10 in the first morning!!
I have experienced quite a few other hunting trips and none compare to those organised by Scrofa Boar Hunting.
I would not hesitate in recommending Scrofa Boar Hunting and will be joining them again this year.
Mark, the organiser for Scrofa Boar Hunting, is genuine, fair and enthusiastic and your enjoyment is his number one priority and his best testament is that people return year after year.

Having hunted driven boar in Europe on many occasions I found Scrofa Boar Hunting’s trip to Hungary in Jan 2016 very well organised and as described from the outset and throughout (something that is not always the case). The other guy’s on the trip were all a good bunch, finding a group that get on so well must be very difficult for you, but you certainly cracked it.
The accommodation, food and transport were excellent as were all the staff.
